Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This policy explains how MEGHR Ltd ("MEGHR", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit meghr.limited or get in touch with us. We keep the data we hold to a minimum and never sell it.
1. Who we are
MEGHR Ltd is a company registered in the United Kingdom, operating as a technology consultancy and product studio. For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected]. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), MEGHR Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here.
2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us. If you email us or use a contact link, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and any analytics may record limited technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the site secure and understand aggregate usage.
- Client project data. When we work with a client under a separate agreement, any personal data we process on their behalf is governed by that agreement, in which the client is the controller and MEGHR acts as processor.
3. Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To respond to you and discuss potential or ongoing work — our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To operate and secure the site — our legitimate interest in running a safe, functional website.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — compliance with laws that apply to us.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example hosting and email providers), where required by law, or with your consent. Any provider handling personal data on our behalf is bound to use it only on our instructions.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to protect it.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry and correspondence data only as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. Records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons are retained for the period the law requires.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Cookies
This site aims to use only what is necessary to function. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will present a clear choice before setting them.
Questions? Email us any time at [email protected] and we'll be glad to help.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
